Becoming part of the change

New age entrepreneurship consists of individuals or groups of aspiring entrepreneurs wanting to change the world in order to make it a more pleasant place to live in. The outdated entrepreneurial line of thinking was based upon the incentive of becoming rich. Now, don't let me be misunderstood, people who pursue a job at the business world nowadays still want to make a well amount of profit out of it (besides, who doesn't, entrepreneur or not), but we're not utterly driven by the ambition of enriching our bank accounts . What ignites our entrepreneurial spirit is a general cause, the need of adding value to the world.

I read a post a while ago, about Steve Jobs' last inspirational speech where he attempted to motivate his audience to follow their dreams. Jobs himself was good at making computers, though what really made his heart sing was designing tools to help people unleash their creativity. Passion is the key. When you find something that is intensely meaningful to you and helps even one more person besides yourself, you have to communicate your vision. Commit to make the steps that are required so that you achieve your goal.

Mahatma Gandhi said it first, “Be the change you wish to see in the world”, or help the ones who are putting an effort towards that direction make it happen, become a part of the change; if I may add to this statement. Everyone is here for a short amount of time, we might as well make it be worth the ride.

Finding your passion isn't just about careers & money.
It's about finding your authentic self.
The one you've burried beneath othe rpeople's needs.

The road less travelled..

Αbout

Hello everybody! This blog is all about what happens when two highschool best friends from Greece, 7 years after their graduation, decide to start a business together. 2015 finds both us living in different continents, one in Australia and the other one in Europe. Economical crisis is the name of the usual suspect that forced us keep away from our beautiful, yet corrupt, Greece. We are the kind of people who see opportunities rising up behind the shades of chaos. Call us dreamers, call us lunatics, we are both. Refusing to conform under the norms community dictate on us, is what brought us here, talking about starting up our very own business. Successful or not, we got a vision and step by step we are going to communicate it to you. Come on board fellows, regardless the outcome, the journey will be amazingly interesting.

As you set out for Ithaka
hope the voyage is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
